Abuna Garima Museum

In May 2012, the museum at the Abba Garima monastery was opened by the Patriarch of the Ethiopian Church. This is a very exciting development. As the museum is located outside the walls of the monastery, woman are admitted and have are able to view the Gospels and other treasures at this ancient site. In February 2013 the Charity agreed to provide funds for improving the security of the museum of the Abba Garima monastery through restoring the fence and fixing iron bars in the windows.
